Admin Editing Guide:

• Use Add New Product to create products.
• To change the first section video, upload your MP4 file to the same Netlify folder as the HTML file and rename it to mayaraa-hero-video.mp4. This avoids filename issues caused by spaces or special characters. You can also replace the <source src="mayaraa-hero-video.mp4"> line with your own direct MP4 URL.
• The current logo is text-based for faster loading. To adjust the brand style, edit .logo-word and .logo-tagline in the CSS. If you later want to use an image logo again, replace the text inside the header/footer .logo blocks with an <img> tag.
• Use the Audience dropdown when creating products: Female, Male, Kids, or Unisex. Male and Kids items can automatically appear as last-minute gift suggestions in the cart.
• Use the Products tab and the category tabs inside Manage Products to view All Products, Perfumes, Candles, or Samples separately.
• Use Product Image URL or Choose File in Admin to replace product pictures any time. Choose File uploads directly to Supabase Storage and fills the URL automatically, then save/update the product.
• Use the Edit button to change product price, image, description, audience, or category.
• To temporarily disable Perfumes or Candles, change perfumeCategoryEnabled or candleCategoryEnabled from true to false inside the code.
• Use the Hero Slides tab to manage homepage banner images, offer messages, new arrivals, and slide links without editing code.
• Referral rewards and redemption codes are managed automatically from Admin Console.
• Always keep a backup copy of the website file before major edits.

Current Security Level: Basic Front-End Authentication

The Admin Login is hidden from normal customers and is accessible only through a private admin URL such as https://mayaraa.shop/?admin=mayaraa-admin or https://mayaraa.shop/#admin-login. Current security level is still browser-based front-end authentication suitable for testing and small-scale operations. For stronger protection, multi-user access, cloud backup, and production deployment, management may migrate to a secure backend authentication platform such as Firebase, Supabase, Shopify, WooCommerce, or another secure backend system in the future.
